Replacement of External Wing Mirror Glass

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa D - Years 2006-2014
Part: Side mirror

The glass of the external wing mirror is simply clipped onto its support using thin metal tabs. To replace it, adjust the mirror fully inwards to create enough space to insert a screwdriver and release the tabs; once the old glass is removed, insert the new one, aligning the fixing tabs correctly and pressing evenly with both hands until it clicks into place. An alternative, quicker and more economical solution is to make a cardboard template of the glass, have a piece cut by a glazier, and glue it with silicone onto the broken one.

How to Remove the Front Bumper Grille on a Ford Focus

Want to replace the central air grille on your vehicle? Here’s how to remove the front bumper grille on a Ford Focus: using a plastic lever or screwdriver, pry between the bumper plastic and the grille, detach the securing clips located on it. Finally, remove the grille from the centre of the bumper, and compare it with the one that will replace it. To proceed with the installation: secure the grille onto the bumper by engaging the clips (apply pressure with your hands on the grille without breaking it). Check the correct installation of the parts.
