How to Repair the Cabin Air Vent of the Opel Corsa D

If the internal vanes of the air vent can no longer be adjusted, preventing it from being opened or closed, you need to disassemble it to resolve the issue. Start by detaching the frame surrounding the vent, taking care not to damage either the frame or the dashboard. At this point, remove the entire air vent from its housing and slide out the side knob that controls the flaps. You will notice that the central pin of the white knob's support is damaged; therefore, it needs to be reconstructed. One solution is to drill a hole in line with the pin and insert a nail, which should then be cut to the correct length, securing the head with two-component adhesive.
