How to change the fuel pump of a Peugeot 307

In this video we see how to change the fuel pump of a Peugeot 307: this component is located under the rear seat, so it must be removed if we want to do the job. Underneath this we will find a black rubber cap and inside we find the pump. To extract it we will first have to remove the electrical connector that connects the pump to the network (it might be a good idea to disconnect the negative pole of the battery, so as not to take any risks); we will then have to disconnect the delivery pipes that are connected to the pump and then - we recommend using a pair of disposable gloves, because the pump is immersed in the fuel - we will have to turn it to extract it from its housing. Let's be careful that the electrical connector and the pipes do not come into contact with the fuel.
