How do you replace and recode the battery of the remote key for a Peugeot 207? Watch this video to find out how. Take your remote control and use a screwdriver to pry between the two halves until they separate from the cover. Remove the worn battery with a screwdriver, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reattach the cap on the remote key cover until you hear it click into place. Check the remote's proper functioning; if it does not work after replacing the battery, follow the instructions in the video. Take a suitable cylinder for this function, insert the metal key into the slot, rotate it, and press the button as shown in the video. Finally, test the buttons for locking and unlocking the doors and starting the car.
