How to Replace the Gear Knob on Peugeot 407

Replace the damaged gear knob on Peugeot 407. Remove the knob and the leather gaiter if damaged. Hold the knob and rotate it left and right until it comes off the gear stick. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the frame of the leather gaiter (if damaged). After fitting the new leather gaiter with the clips (if removed), take the new knob and slide it onto the stick in the centre console. Press the new knob until it locks in place. Finally, test the movement of the stick in the centre console to ensure the knob is correctly fitted.
