Replacing the Gear Knob on Peugeot 407, 307, 207, 3008

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to replace the gear knob on a Peugeot 407, as well as on many other models from the Peugeot and Citroen groups. First, get inside the vehicle and detach the gear gaiter by pulling it from the sides; then lift it along with the knob, pulling it forcefully from the car. Next, separate the knob from the gaiter and, if present, cut the tie wrap between them. Now, refit the new components, first inserting and securing the gear knob, then fitting the gaiter.

How to Open a Stuck Boot on the Peugeot 407?
