Failure to start the car could be due to the battery no longer delivering the necessary current, so it must be replaced. The average life of a battery is approximately three years. The battery is located in the engine hood. As a first step, loosen the negative pole clamp and extract it away from the battery, then loosen the positive clamp and extract it from the battery pole away from it. Unscrew the nut located on the right side of the battery by removing the sealing plate on the bottom of the battery. Remove the battery from its housing using the special handles. Install the new battery and secure it properly with the screw and its plate. Clean the battery terminals with sandpaper or a rag. Place the clamp on the positive pole pushing it all the way down and tighten the sealing nut, then carry out the same operation with the negative clamp. Do not dispose of the exhausted battery in the environment but take it to the appropriate collection centers.
