How to Remove the Key Battery (ce0536) of a Peugeot 307

Model: Peugeot 307 MK 1 - Years 2001-2009

Start by inserting the tip of a flat screwdriver into the slot on the underside of the key to pry it open. This will separate the electronic key into two halves. Once separated, you will access the old battery. To extract it from its housing, use a small flat screwdriver. Insert the tip of the screwdriver into the gap between the battery and its housing, then pry it out. This will successfully extract the battery (a ce0536), allowing you to install the new battery.
