To reset the service light on a Peugeot 308, start by turning on the instrument panel and note that a wrench symbol appears on the dashboard display. Next, turn off the instrument panel, press and hold the "check" button, then turn the instrument panel back on while keeping the button pressed. Wait for the countdown until a message with a wrench symbol appears; then release the button, turn off the instrument panel, and turn it back on. If you see the message "oil level correct," the operation is complete.
