Let's see how to replace the number plate lights on a Peugeot 407 with LED lamps: under the handle with the "Peugeot" inscription, there are two light units. To remove the transparent part, use a small screwdriver to lever on one side of the transparent cover, where there are clips; push outward, and it will come off easily. Now, remove the halogen bulb and replace it with the LED one. Remember not to touch it with bare hands, or you will shorten its lifespan. Now, refit the transparent part. Just rest it on one side and then clip it back on the other side, using the screwdriver as needed. Job done.
