How to Change the Shock Absorbers on a Peugeot 407

Hello, in this video, you will see how to replace the shock absorbers on your Peugeot 407. Once the car is raised on the ramp and the wheel is removed, start by unscrewing the bolt in the centre of the brake disc. There is a bolt underneath the discs; unscrew it and remove the pin. Next, unscrew the other bolts around the discs. Secure the brake discs to avoid issues during removal. Once done, proceed to the upper assembly. There are two bolts at the ends, between the windscreen and the bonnet. Remove the part and the plastic gasket. Continue by unscrewing the bolts perpendicular to the shock absorbers to remove the cover. By doing this, you will be able to take out the shock absorbers. Use a press to compress the shock absorbers and unscrew the top part. Also, remove both springs. Now, you can start fitting the new ones, always using the machinery. Then, mount them back onto your car by reversing the process.
