In this video we see how to adjust the throttle play on a Piaggio Vespa GTS 300: it is best if there is no play on the throttle grip. We need a screwdriver: we open the engine compartment by lifting the seat and immediately find the throttle body, held in place by two rubber inserts. We loosen two clamps so that we can tilt the throttle body to expose the pull cable. We will need an 8mm and a 10mm wrench. We locate the locking cable and from there we can adjust the cable, checking the adjustment from the throttle grip: the play should be zero or close to it. Once we have achieved the desired result, we can put the throttle body back in place and close the seat.
