How to Activate Traction Control on a Piaggio Beverly

Model: Piaggio Beverly 250
Part: Onboard computer

Video tutorial

In this short video, see how to activate and deactivate traction control on a Piaggio Beverly. Traction control on a scooter helps prevent loss of grip on the driving wheel during acceleration, providing significant safety benefits on wet or slippery surfaces, starting from a standstill on difficult terrains, and during sudden accelerations.

It also results in less tyre wear, greater stability, and a safer, less demanding ride. To activate, simply mount the scooter, turn on the ignition, and press the "ASR" button located on the left side of the handlebars.

How to Replace the Piston on a Derbi GPR 125

To replace the piston on a Derbi GPR 125, loosen the bolts securing the cylinder head to its housing, allowing it to be removed along with the valve cover. This will enable you to access the bolts securing the cylinder at the top of the engine, allowing for its complete removal and revealing the underlying piston. The piston can now be freed from its securing bolts, enabling you to position the new piston onto the corresponding conrod. After installation, refit the engine components.
