For this type of scooter, it is recommended to use synthetic oil for engines 5W-40. The drain hole for the used oil is located at the bottom, on the right side of the scooter, sealed with a 24 mm bolt. It is advisable to perform these operations, such as the oil change, after running the engine for several minutes, making the circulating lubricant warmer and therefore less viscous, facilitating its flow. Collect the used oil in a container and dispose of it properly. Refit the drain bolt and add the same quantity of new oil through the fill hole, which is located, as shown in the video, on the left side of the scooter.

How to Check the Coolant Level in a Yamaha Xmax
