To adjust the handbrake of the Renault Clio, loosen the screws securing the covering panel of the central tunnel: once these screws are loosened, you can completely remove the panel from its housing to locate the handbrake cable bolt. This bolt needs to be adjusted according to your needs: tighten it to make the handbrake firmer and reduce its travel; conversely, loosen the bolt to increase the handbrake travel and make it softer.
