To adjust the handbrake of the Renault Clio, you need to loosen the screws that fix the panel covering the central tunnel of the car: once these screws have been loosened, it will be possible to completely remove the panel from its seat in order to locate the bolt of the handbrake cable. This bolt must be adjusted according to the needs: it must be tightened to make the handbrake harder and reduce its travel; conversely, the bolt must be loosened to increase the travel of the handbrake and make it softer.
