To remove the plastic cover of the external rearview mirror on a Renault Clio mk2, we need to use a flathead screwdriver or a plastic removal tool. Insert the flathead screwdriver along the sides of the mirror and with a slight outward pressure, unlock the plastic clips, thus removing the cover of the mirror. After removing the cover, we can perform the desired maintenance, and the assembly process is the reverse. Simply position the cover along the mirror and press inward to engage the clips.
