To replace the gear knob on a Renault Clio, leverage the bottom of the gaiter to release the corresponding fixing pins: once these clips are removed, you can lift the gaiter to open the ring that connects it to the knob. Once the ring is opened, grasp the knob to detach it from the top of the lever: the new knob can now be positioned so that it can be secured and the gaiter reattached to the clips at the base.
