Before you begin, sit in the driver's seat of your Renault Clio. Start by prising off and lifting the lower section of the gear lever gaiter. Next, grasp the gear knob and pull it firmly upwards. This will free the gear knob itself. At this point, extract and remove the gear knob. Once you have removed the gear knob from your Renault Clio, the disassembly is complete, and you can fit the new gear knob.
