How to open the front hood of a Clio

Model: Renault Clio MK 2, Clio 2 - Years 1998-2005
Part: Body

Open the front engine hood to do car maintenance? Let's see how it opens. We pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then, slightly raise the bonnet and pull the release lever to the left. Once the engine hood is unlocked, lift it up and secure it with the locking rod. Now that we have opened the bonnet we can do our due maintenance. To close the hood we remove the safety rod and let the hood drop down from a minimum height. Let's check if the hood is closed properly.
