Renault Clio - Video tutorial
Model: Renault Clio
MK 2, Clio 2
- Years 1998-2005 The fuel pressure regulator is located on the side of the injection pump and to be able to test its correct operation it must be disassembled: this involves disconnecting the cables and pipes that interfere with the fastening screws of the regulator itself; once access to the regulator fixing screws is free, disassemble them and extract the regulator itself from its seat; check that the pump is not blocked and that fuel comes out by pressing the manual pump; first check if you notice any metal residues inside the filter net; measure the electrical resistance of the coil which must be about 5 ohms and power the solenoid to test the opening and closing of the valve.
