This will allow you to loosen the screws securing the valve cover, completely detaching it from the top of the engine block. Once the cover is removed, you can identify the underlying valves, which can be adjusted using a feeler gauge.

Complete the operation by refitting the valve cover and ensuring everything functions correctly.
