Renault Clio - Video tutorial

Model: Renault Clio MK 4, Clio 4, Clio IV - Years 2012-2019
Part: Valve
Operation: How to replace the EGR valve on the Renault Clio 1.5 dci?

In order to replace the EGR valve on the Renault Clio 1.4 dci, the hood must be opened to gain access to the engine compartment. The valve will be located at the top of the engine compartment, immediately below the windshield. In order to remove it, the electrical sheath of the air flow meter must be removed and the clamping rings must also be unscrewed. In this way it will be possible to remove the air duct; subsequently the bolts that secure the turbo air duct must be loosened and the breather duct must be removed from its hooks. Therefore, by accessing from the underside of the car, it will also be possible to loosen the bolts that secure the lower part of the turbo air duct. By removing the duct from the top of the car, you will have access to the EGR valve: after removing the connector, the fixing screws and the coolant hose, the valve can be removed and replaced.
