Repairing the Cabin Fan on a Renault Clio 2

Model: Renault Clio Clio 2, MK 2 - Years 1998-2005

When the air speed adjustment switch does not work, it usually does not mean that the switch itself is the part to replace, but rather the thermal fuse (or resistor) located under the bonnet. Open the bonnet and prop it up, then remove the seal and the small plastic cover on your left (facing the cabin) near the windscreen. Voila! You are now facing the thermal resistor. Unscrew the small 6 mm nut and remove it, freeing it from the plastic clip. Replace it with the new thermal fuse and reassemble everything.
