Removing the Car Radio for Repair

Model: Renault Clio MK 2, Clio 2 - Years 1998-2005

Enter the security PIN for the car radio and then switch it off. To remove the radio from the console, insert the appropriate tools into the side slots of the radio to release the retaining springs. At this point, slide the radio out of the compartment, carefully disconnecting the connectors. Remove the steering column cover and disconnect the remote control by pressing on the plastic tabs with a screwdriver. To reinstall the equipment, simply reconnect the connectors and gently slide the radio back into the compartment, taking care not to pinch the electrical cables.
