Replacement of the gear knob on Renault cars

Extract the headset from the base by simply pulling it: if you cannot extract it by hand, help yourself with a plastic wedge or a small flat screwdriver. Lift it up as high as you can and break the tie underneath with a cutting pliers. Now you can lower the cap and remove the knob: to do this, simply pull it and shake it vigorously at the same time. Now proceed with the assembly of the new knob, working backwards and making sure that the knob you purchased has the same internal attachment as the original. Nothing easier! Attach a new strap under the headset and that's it.
