How to update Tom Tom R-Link on Renault cars

Model: Renault Renault Various
Part: Onboard computer

The update will not be a difficult operation, nor an excessively long one. First, go to the â € œRenault easy connectâ € website, click on the â € œ multimedia systemsâ € drop-down menu (the menu is the one at the top of the site) and select â € œR-Linkâ €; the screen relating to the selected model will open, then click on â € œR-Link updateâ €. Then enter the chassis number of the vehicle (if you do not know it you can easily find it, just click on the appropriate button and the position on the vehicle will be shown). If the operation is executable, the update file will be downloaded which must be unpacked and loaded onto a USB stick (8-32 GB in FAT32 format). Once this is done, in the machine, start the engine and turn on R-Link; insert the USB pen into the port and press â € œyesâ €, when some messages appear on the screen. The update may take 15-20 minutes. At the end of this operation the message â € œCanCoProcessor updateâ € may be displayed; if this warning appears, wait just a few minutes until the system is completely restarted and then unplug the USB stick. From now on, the operation will be finished.
