Is the Renault 1.0 TCe engine reliable?

The 1.0 TCe engine of Renault is an overall reliable engine with excellent fuel consumption, despite limited performance due to the engine size. Maintenance, however, must be precise and timely as the system is quite complex: there is a turbine that needs to be checked often as it can be quite delicate. It is also recommended to change the engine oil every 20,000 km to avoid damage. In some cases, problems may arise in the transition to LPG fuel, especially in Dacia models.
