To replace the engine oil and filter on a third-generation Renault Clio, slightly warm up the engine and then switch it off. Park the vehicle on a flat surface and safely lift it, removing any undertray if present. After positioning a container under the oil sump, unscrew the drain plug and let the used oil drain completely.

Then remove the oil filter, which varies in position depending on the engine type, and install the new filter with the appropriate seals. Next, replace the drain plug with the specified seal and introduce new oil, adhering to the quantity and specifications indicated by the manufacturer.

Finally, briefly start the engine, check for leaks, and after a few minutes, verify the oil level, correcting it if necessary.
