How to Change the Oil and Filter on a Clio 3

Changing the oil and filter on a Renault Clio 3 1.5 is a relatively simple task. This video tutorial will explain how to do it independently. The first step is to lift the car, as the oil sump is located at the bottom of the vehicle. Once the car is raised, remove the oil sump using a socket spanner, allowing the old oil to drain out. When there is no more oil in the sump, you can remove the filter. The oil filter on the Clio 3 is difficult to access as it is wedged between various components, so you may need to remove some of them. Once you have completed the filter removal process, as shown in the video, proceed to replace it. Then, lower the car and add the new oil.
