This is particularly useful because to carry out this maintenance task, it is first necessary to remove the engine protection panel. Only after doing this can you finally drain the oil sump and remove the filter. While the used oil drains into the collection container, you can change the cartridge and the filter gasket, then remount it in place, close the oil sump, and reinstall the protection panel. Finish by adding the new engine oil.
