How to Change Engine Oil and Filter on a Renault Clio III

Let's see how to change the engine oil and oil filter on a Renault Clio III: open the bonnet and remove the cap from the engine cover; this will help the oil drain better. Drain the old oil by removing the plug from under the sump. Dispose of this oil properly at an authorised centre. Using the appropriate tool, unscrew the old filter (be careful, it is full of oil) and clean the seat with a cloth. Lubricate the new seal with a thin layer of new oil and fill with new oil from the top cap, after replacing the sump plug with a new one. Frequently check the level using the dipstick. Start the engine for 30 seconds, turn it off, and wait for a minute. Check the level again and ensure there are no leaks from the filter or the drain plug.
