How to Replace the Stop Light Bulb on a Renault Captur I
Model: Renault Captur
MK 1
- Years 2013-2019
Video tutorial
Detailed instructions - This guide shows how to replace the stop light bulb on a Renault Captur I. Open the tailgate: on the light unit, locate the two fixing screws situated inside the boot, on the side of the light itself. This is enough to free the light; just be careful of the retaining pin that fits into the bodywork and the electrical connector. You will see the bulb holders, which can be removed by turning them counterclockwise and then gently pulling them out. Replace the blown bulb, taking care not to touch the glass of the new bulb with bare hands, as the oil from your skin can damage it. Reinsert the bulb holder into the light and reposition the light by placing it back on its pin, reconnecting the connector and screwing in the two Torx screws. That’s it.
