How to remove the steering head in a Renault Clio 3

Model: Renault Clio MK 3, Clio 3, Clio III - Years 2005-2013
Part: Tie rods

In this video tutorial we can see how it is possible to remove the steering head in a Renault Clio 3 by following a few simple steps. The first thing to do is to get into the car, turn off the car and pull the handbrake. Now we need to loosen the front wheel bolts without removing them entirely; with a jack, we have to lift the front of the car and completely unscrew the bolts; next step we have to remove the front wheel, to access the steering system; place the stands under the car for greater safety. Once the front wheels have been removed, they must be placed under the car. Now you can see the steering head. Use an unblocker as the head could be blocked. Make a mark because you will need it when you put it back together. Use an adjustable wrench to loosen the head support nut. Use a 17 mm insert socket to loosen the head support nut. Use a hammer to smack the nut you just placed into the top of the thread. Unscrew the head paying attention to the mark you made previously and counting the number of turns necessary to remove it. Reassemble the new head by proceeding in reverse order (see video).

Removing VW Passat Interior Lights

Below is how to replace the bulbs in all the interior lights of this vehicle. For the lights on the roof, use a flathead screwdriver to gently lever at the side where you will release the retaining clip, pull it out, and after replacing the bulb, press it back into place. For the light above the front seats, lever (with the flathead screwdriver) directly on the transparent plastic to detach it from the retaining tabs (replace the bulbs and press it back into place). For the rear light and number plate lights, perform the same operation: lever to release the tab, replace, and press back into place.
