Resetting the Renault Clio Service warning light.

Model: Renault Clio MK 4, Clio 4, Clio IV - Years 2012-2019
Part: Service warning light

Following the replacement of the motor oil as scheduled in the regular maintenance plan for the Renault Clio, it is necessary to reset the Service light that alerts us to the need for intervention. Sitting in the driver's seat, we turn on the instrument panel, and using the two buttons at the top of the windshield wiper control lever, we select the "Revision Autonomy" option on the central display. Now, press and hold the "Down Arrow" button for ten seconds until a message related to the maintenance interval appears. Press and continue holding the "Down Arrow" button until the time and mileage for the maintenance are displayed. Now, press the "Up Arrow" button to select "Oil Change in" and repeat the same procedure: the Service light is reset.

This simple operation will be illustrated in this short video guide. As the first step, raise the hood to access and remove the bolts securing the top of the bumper. Next, remove the bolts and clips that attach the inner fender to the rear of the bumper. This operation will need to be repeated on both sides. Also, remove the screws that secure the bottom of the bumper to the lower engine cover. Now, just pull the bumper away, being careful to disconnect the connectors at the back.
