In this video tutorial we will see how to remove and replace the clutch plates on a Sherco ST 290 motorcycle, in simple steps. First of all we place our bike on the stand and we go to remove the right side cover, clutch side; to do this, unscrew the fixing screws using a socket wrench. At this point we unscrew the screws of our clutch pack, removing the metal disc and then removing the cork discs; So we just have to replace the clutch discs and springs with the right spare parts, applying the reverse disassembly procedure!

How do you replace the transmission of the Sym Joymax 300i?

In order to replace the transmission of the Sym Joymax 300i, you need to loosen the screws that secure the appropriate casing, located on the left side of the motorcycle near the rear wheel: here it will be possible to loosen the central nuts that secure the variator and the clutch bell. Once these two components are released, it will be possible to remove them completely from their housing in order to slide the belt out of its seat; at this point it will be possible to insert all the new components, securing them to their respective housing and verifying that everything is functioning properly.
