Before starting the engine oil change on the Sherco 500, ensure the bike is stable and secure to protect the operator's safety. This precaution should be taken whenever performing maintenance on any motorcycle. Now, after placing a container under the oil drain hole, open the oil filler cap and unscrew the drain bolt to let the old oil flow out. After this operation, clean the plugs and close the drain hole. Next, unscrew the cap of the filter housing and replace the old filter. Finally, pour new oil into the filler cap and you're done!
