In this video we see how to replace the glass of the external mirror of the Skoda Octavia: first of all, tilt the glass/mirror as much as possible, so that it can be removed from the plastic casing; carefully release it from its support, using a plastic spatula to avoid scratching the bodywork. Remove the glass, also disconnecting the electrical connector, then take the opportunity to treat the connectors with a specific product.
