The VCDS is a software to be installed on any PC, for convenience it is preferable to be portable, thanks to which you can obtain the fault diagnosis of a vehicle and, when conditions allow, reset it. In practice, the aforementioned PC must be connected to the car's ECU through the OBD socket, then the various parameters are configured, such as the vehicle model, year of production and whatever else, until the complete display of all the parameters of interest, including the active warning lights section. Specifically, the service light, indicating the expiration of the service, must be identified and, indeed, cleared.
