How to Reset the Service Light on a Škoda Octavia?

To completely clear the Service light displayed on the instrument cluster of a Škoda Octavia, you need to press and hold the button located in the centre of the instrument cluster, to the right of the central screen: the button must be held down while the instrument cluster is off. This can now be activated by turning the key in the ignition, and once the instrument cluster is on, you can release the button to the right of the display, pressing instead the one on the left of the screen: this way, you will notice that the Service light will be completely cleared.
