How to Remove the Glove Compartment on a Skoda Octavia

Model: Skoda Octavia MK 3, 5E - Years 2012-2019

Before starting, open the front passenger door of your Skoda Octavia. Begin by opening the glove compartment, then unclip the outer side cover using a thin but sturdy tool and prying it off. Next, unscrew and remove all the Torx screws that secure the glove compartment to the dashboard, and you will have freed the glove compartment. At this point, extract the glove compartment from its housing, and then disconnect the various electrical connectors attached to it. Once you have completed this last step, you can remove the glove compartment, and the disassembly will be finished.
