Removing the Instrument Cluster on Skoda Octavia

Model: Skoda Octavia 1U, MK 1 - Years 1996-2004

Start by unscrewing the two T20 Torx screws located at the top of the dashboard, as shown in the video. After doing this, you can already remove the surface cover of the instrument cluster, which ends only in the area of the central air vents. Now you can unscrew the other two T20 screws that secure the instrument cluster at the top (it is advisable to use a magnetic tool to avoid losing the screws). Once this is done, you can extract the instrument cluster from its housing and disconnect the rear connectors. Nothing could be easier! Proceed in reverse until fully reassembled.
