How to Remove the Instrument Cluster from a Skoda Octavia

Model: Skoda Octavia MK 2, 1Z - Years 2004-2012

Before you begin, sit in the driver's seat of your Skoda Octavia. Start by prising out and removing the light switch knob, then disconnect the rear connector. Next, remove the inserts located beneath the instrument cluster by simply unclipping them. At this point, remove the lower plastic trim to access the screws securing the instrument panel, which you will need to unscrew and remove. Once this step is complete, unclamp and remove the instrument cluster, then disconnect the electrical connector, and you will have finished the disassembly.
