Replacing the Cabin Filter

Model: Skoda Rapid MK 1 - Years 2012-2019
Part: Cabin air filter

Locate the filter housing under the glove compartment on the passenger side of the cabin. You will find a cover next to the plastic grille that needs to be removed by sliding the locking mechanism to the right and down/right as shown in the image. Once the cover is removed, slide the springs up and down (as indicated in the image) to extract the filter. Remove the filter. Insert the new filter by reversing the steps. The filter should be replaced every year or every 9,000 miles. The car is a Skoda Rapid.
