How to Remove the Double Front Grille on a BMW

Let's see how to remove the double front grille on a BMW: it is held in place by two plastic clips located at the top (on either side of the BMW logo). Open the hood and with one finger, press down on the first clip on the upper side of the grille: while holding the first clip, use your other hand to press the second clip on the other side.

After unlocking both, the grille will be free, and you can gently pull it towards you, starting from the top edge. For reinstallation, simply align the grille in its slot and press firmly until you hear all the clips click back into place.
