How to remove the outer door panel on a Smart fortwo? This video explains the procedure. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery connectors located in the front engine compartment. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the securing screws on the inner door panel, and detach the rubber seal next to the glass on the door. Use a plastic lever to unclip all the clips around the perimeter of the door panel. Finally, pull off the outer panel by hand. Reassemble everything in reverse order.
