In order to replace the battery of the Smart Fortwo, you need to detach the hooks that secure the hood panel, so that you can access the components in the lower part of the compartment: here you will be able to locate the battery in the top left. You will need to unscrew the screws that secure the device to its housing and disconnect the power cables: at this point, you will be able to insert the new battery into its slot.

This must be secured with screws and connected to the respective cables, then covering everything with the hood and verifying that everything works.
