How to Replace the Battery in a Smart ForTwo

Before starting, open the front bonnet of your Smart ForTwo. Begin by loosening the nuts that secure the two terminals to the battery, then disconnect the terminals. Next, unscrew and remove the bolts that secure the battery support bracket, then remove the bracket itself. Once the support bracket is removed, the battery will be free. Proceed to extract the battery from its housing, completing the removal. To install the new battery, follow these steps in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
