How to reset the "Service" light on a Smart

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007

Before we can start, we will have to go and sit in the driver's seat of our Smart. So let's start by activating the instrument panel by turning the key to position one. After that, we will have to go and press the left button on the instrument panel twice, within four seconds, and then turn off the instrument panel. At this point, we will have to press, and hold down, the first button, and in the meantime we will have to go to reactivate the instrumentation. We will have to hold down the left button on the instrument panel until the "Service" light goes out, and we have finished the reset.
