In today's video we will see how to disassemble and replace the automatic gear knob of the Smart Fortwo 450 first series, but also of the 451 and the Forfour by following these simple and quick steps. First of all, we get on board the car and start by taking our knob with both hands; then we pull hard upwards to remove it, like in the video. At this point let's replace it with the new one, inserting it correctly on the lever; apply pressure until the knob is inserted correctly, trying not to create any kind of play between the lever and the knob itself.
