How to Remove and Repair the External Handle on a Smart Fortwo

Learn how to remove and repair the external handle on the door of a Smart Fortwo. Using a suitable screwdriver, unscrew the securing screws on the door (side panel), then use a plastic lever to remove the handle located on the right side (as shown in the video). After removing the handle from the door, disassemble the door lock with the opening cable, compare it with the new handle, and prepare for installation. Insert the new handle with lock and cover into the door. Finally, test the correct installation and operation by manually operating the handle.
